The Villa was the summer residence of the last prime minister of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, Giovanni Baldasseroni. Built in the 18th century on a 16th century religious site, the villa is still the home of the descendants of Count Baldasseroni.

The villa has two apartments for rental, the Main Apartment and the Granary. Each apartment comes with a full kitchen (complete with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher), washing machine and modern baths.  The Main Apartment is located on the first floor with its own entrances on the north and south gardens. The Granary is located on the second floor, also with its own entrance, and overlooks the south garden.

A unique feature of the property are the gardens. The architect Poggi who designed the Boboli gardens behind the Pitti Palace in Florence designed the north garden/park of Villa Baldasseroni, and the south garden is a formal Italian garden. The property has a private swimming pool in the olive grove adjoining the Villa gardens, where each apartment has its own patio area with deck chairs and sun umbrellas. Click to view rates online...
